THIS GUY | i’m so proud of my handsome, talented husband, Jeff Freling! When I say this guy can do it all, I mean it. He’s a rock ‘n’ roller, a film composer, an orchestral arranger, he plays in pit orchestras for every kind of music and theater production, he lays down the low notes in a country band, he’s got jazz chops, and this week he got to peKauffman Center for the Performing Artshe @kansas city symphony and the @lyric opera at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts! ❤️ (and my stars, he’s got great hair)

KIDDENS | what is sweeter than a fuzzy little kitten? We have had the joy of socializing four little kittens from our neighborhood. Their mama is a neighborhood stray, and she brought these four kittens over once they were weaned. (side note: yes, we
KIDDENS | what is sweeter than a fuzzy little kitten? We have had the joy of socializing four little kittens from our neighborhood. Their mama is a neighborhood stray, and she brought these four kittens over once they were weaned. (side note: yes, we are working to capture and spay mama.) We’ve been feeding the kittens, playing with them, introducing the litter box, etc. We’re getting ready to have them spayed and neutered and soon they will be ready for adoption. Let me know if if anybody is interested in one of these little sweet ones.
GOODBYES ARE HARD | we spent the last two days in the country. Drove to the beautiful town of Trim, stayed in an historic Airbnb in an historic town. ~ Castles and keeps. Rivers and sheep. ~ I love it here. We went down to the ocean shore and walke
GOODBYES ARE HARD | we spent the last two days in the country. Drove to the beautiful town of Trim, stayed in an historic Airbnb in an historic town. ~ Castles and keeps. Rivers and sheep. ~ I love it here. We went down to the ocean shore and walked across the sand at low tide. Played trivia with locals in a traditional pub that’s 150 yrs old, but the original pub license and structure are from 1300s (not a typo). The conversation and craic haven’t changed much, I think. One last night in our neighborhood pub for stew and pints, then back to Dublin in the morning for a flight home. Good news: we found the venue in Dublin we were looking for. Ireland, you’re so pretty. Perfect weather today! Brisk but sunny, crisp and fresh, walked all over Dublin. Saw museums, parks, pubs, cafes, shops, music, and life everywhere. 💚
